Brief Bio:
Known as San Francisco’s King of Swing, Dr. Philip "Flip" Gordon, PhD and his Out of Nowhere quartet and quintet (with vocals) are the ambassadors of traditional swing standard. A classy performing act, Dr. Gordon and his Out of Nowhere Band plays the San Francisco and now in Paris, at many of the citys’ five-star hotels, festivals and the club swing scene and specializes in corporate parties; from background cocktail music to dance floor favorites. Philip is a true crooner and his Out of Nowhere Band has an extensive list of corporate and private clients. A tight group since 1994, they don’t miss a beat whereever they go!
Saxophonist, Composer and Bandleader Dr. PHILIP "Flip" GORDON, PhD appears at selected venues and private corporate parties and events in US and Europe with special presentations of "AN EVENING OF WORLD JAZZ" and "THE PARRALLEL UNIVERSE" leading The Out of Nowhere Bands, including special international guest vocalists.
